on the beach in the heart of Cancun's famed hotel zone, known for

It is also a 20-minute drive to downtown Cancun, a 20-minute drive
to the Cancun International Airport, a one to two-hour drive to
most sightseeing attractions such
as Mayan Ruin sites and ecological parks and a short boat trip to
the neighboring
islands of Isla Mujeres, Isla Contoy and Cozumel, only a few miles
from the coast.

The Bellavista
Restaurante
offers buffet breakfast and lunch, featuring scrumptious Mexican
and international delights with a panoramic view of the Caribbean
and the resort's main pool. For all of the tantalizing flavors of

Avalon Grill
offers a tempting dinner menu in a casual, rustic setting.
The Porterhouse
Grill,
Avalon Grand's premier restaurant, is touted as the best steakhouse
in Cancun, featuring an enticing dinner variety of fresh, quality
meats, seafood and poultry served in a choice of luscious sauces,
gourmet appetizers with a Cajun or Italian touch and delectable
homemade desserts (not included in the all-inclusive program).
Fun and excitement are served up with mouthwatering classic American
and Mexican dinners and appetizers at Kelly's
Irish Pub & Sports Bar,
featuring pool tables, football, darts, famous sports memorabilia,
nightly entertainment and live music. The
beach, pool and lobby snack bars are
the perfect respite for fun, sun, relaxing and a variety of exotic
cocktails and light fare.

A plethora of private off-site excursions, including catamaran cruises,
shopping tours, nightclub tours, expeditions to ecological preserves
and parks, archaeological sites, Mayan Ruins and neighboring islands
are offered on a daily basis. Off-site excursions are not included
in the all-inclusive program.
The
Avalon Grand offers a wide variety of land and water activities
throughout each day, including dive and snorkel equipment and instruction
(not included in the all-inclusive program), beach volleyball, pool
volleyball, water polo, water aerobics, beach soccer, bingo, ping
pong, stretching exercises, Spanish lessons, dance lessons, chef's
classes, cocktail classes, beach parties and shared all-inclusive
activities with its sister property, Avalon Bay. Special activities
and contests for children are also provided on a daily basis.
Something
special happens every night at all three Avalon resorts in Cancun,
from garden grill parties, Monday night football parties and authentic
Mexican fiestas to BBQ rock parties, beach parties, talent shows,
contests and more.
Guests
can enjoy a full range of exercise equipment at the fitness center,
including treadmills, lifecycles, step machines, free weights and
Life Fitness weight training. Professional staff is onsite for assistance
and instruction.
Parents
can relax while their children delight in a festival of fun at the
Avalon Grand's supervised Kids' Club. A large poolside kiosko (enclosed
gazebo) is filled with a variety of entertainment, from toys, books
and games for all ages to a TV & VCR with a selection of videos
and video games, an outdoor jungle gym and more. Hamburgers and
hotdogs are grilled up just right for the little ones, too.
For
an extra special treat, guests can experience luxurious indulgences
at Avalon Grand's full-service spa & salon. The spa offers everything
from relaxing massages and calming body treatments to vitalizing

treatments and services include haircuts & styling, braids,
